synopsis
Kingdom is a feature length documentary currently in post-production. It revolves around the stories and travels of two missionaries: Jim and Peter, and the incredible impact of the message they share...
THE STORY
Jim
Raised in the wooded hills of Kentucky, Jim Farmer spent nearly twenty years as a missionary in Africa. His ministry focused
primarily on Bible Translation and Language Surveying. In 2000, Jim and his family returned to the United States in a change of seasons. It was a few years later that he was invited to western Kenya to help build an orphanage.
Peter
It was on one of these early trips to Kenya that Jim met Peter Ronoh, a local pastor and leader in the church. It wasn't long before Jim and Peter teamed up and began ministering together. In the years since, they have led numerous teams into the most remote regions of Kenya, sharing the gospel with those who have never heard it.
The ministry
Peter and Jim have built their ministry around the message of Luke 4:
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
At the core of their mission is fervent prayer and simple obedience, and they carry a strong desire to see the next generation equipped to take the gospel into the nations. Their ministry goes beyond denomination and divisions in culture to reach the hearts of people with a simple and fervent love.
Logan Reynolds
Director/Producer
Logan has been pointing a camera at things since he was a young boy. Being in the same church as Jim Farmer, he grew up hearing the amazing stories Jim would tell on Sunday mornings. One day he got the idea to travel with Jim and help him bring the stories to life. When he’s not working on his film Logan is working at his business, By the Stream Media, creating video content for businesses and organizations around the country.
Collins
Assistant Director
Collins is a wedding photographer by day and rising Director of Photography by night. Based out of San Angelo, his love of travel and missions has taken him all across the world with camera in hand.
Joseph Grimes
Sound Mixer
Joe is a jack of all trades. His greatest talent, however, is loving Jesus and loving people. Beyond that he has a great time doing anything that involves holding a camera or microphone and was in charge of all audio for this particular trip. Joe currently serves on staff at Freedom Fellowship Church in San Angelo, Texas and as a teacher at Potter’s Hand Christian School.
Penny Nichols

Penny is a full time photographer from San Angelo, Texas. While heading to China on a mission trip she was given her first camera and her business, PennyLynn Photography grew from there. While going to the same church as Jim she felt like the Lord gave her a dream to follow Him through Africa with a camera one day and is excited to see God's plan come all together.
